Happy to meet you. I am Nynke van der Geer, the founder of YIHP.art.
I live in the beautiful country of the Netherlands. I’m married to my sweet husband Ramon van der Geer and we have 3 beautiful kids together.
Throughout my career, I've observed that people find inspiration, joy, and a sense of refreshment in my work. I hope you’ll find that as well.
My main activities involve designing pattern designs. I love to spend time outdoors seeking inspiration for new collections and designs.
I also love to experiment by using new methods in the process of design, or using different materials in the preparation of a new collection.
What defines YIHP?
YIHP is a company committed to enhance the designs and ambiance of living spaces, ensuring that the origin of YIHP-creations is exclusively rooted in Christianity, free from any influence of other religions or belief systems.
As various other spiritual influences become more prevalent in the market, there seems to be a lack of Christian-inspired products. This lack created a desire within me to craft creations that would stand out in this landscape.
I believe the surrounding we live and work in is important. I would love to be a contribution in that way.
